Novalja is located in the northwestern part of the island. There's a great variety of
restaurants, tavernas and cafés which offer a large selection of different mediterranean dishes, cocktails and a very warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere night and day. At
the shore, you will have opportunity to participate in sports programs (wakeboarding,
water skiing, jet skiing, banana boating, tubing, beach football, tennis etc.) Tourists can enjoy themselves until late at night every night of the summer season in an incredible selection of "Super clubs" and bars which in our opinion are even more fun and far less "commercial" than Ibiza has now become (and infinitely CHEAPER!).
Novalja has more to offer, as you can see the Roman Aquduct or visit Stomorica - a large collection of early Christian monuments. The city has a basilica with well preserved mosaics. Nearby, in Cissa (today Caska), Roman army built a military camp. Novalja has become a destination for many tourists because of its location among the pine forests, and the true atmosphere of the Mediterranean region, filled with wonderful beaches.
